Alpha has added 130x130mm base sizes to our LPD and LT series heat sinks.

Previously, our heat sinks had a maximum base size of 10,000 (mm²), due to limits of our manufacturing equipment. Friction stir welding, introduced in April 2023, allows us to offer heat sinks that are significantly larger. Various sizes can be produced by friction stir welding with short lead times and little to no additional cost. The 130x130mm base size has been standardized for immediate delivery and lower cost.
